The Group runs many fundraising events through the year and is grateful for the help and support of a great number of volunteers including parents, volunteers, Cowbridge residents, local businesses and schools.
The funds raised go towards the running of the Group and include things like maintaining or Headquarters, purchasing and maintaining equipment for various activities and subsidising activity costs, for example, hiring a minibus for a camping trip.
In addition to this, we also try to support local and national charities.

Jumble Sale - held every September in the Scout HQ
Book Sale - held every October in the Scout HQ
Scout Christmas Post - An Area wide postal service supported by Scout Groups across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan
Stamp Collecting - We collect used stamps all year which raise money for our chosen charities. Our current charity is The Cystic Fibrosis Trust
