A small group of our Scouts have been exploring underground again. This time in Llygad Llwchwr, a very interesting cave near Ammanford in the far west of the Brecon Beacons. The day saw one Scout ticking off enough of the requirements to gain their Cavers badge with others well on the way towards it.

Llygad Llwchwr, which translates as Eye of the Loughor - the source of the River Loughor - is  a tricky little cave with lots of challenges but is also very nicely decorated in parts, making the effort more than worth while.

Yet again, the Scouts had a great time - exploring the cave and developing their skills - helping each other through the various natural obstacles challenges that make the cave so much fun.

But don't take our word for it - here's some feedback from a parent "....she's whacked but really excited. Had a fantastic time"

All of our caving trips are run by the CATVOG Area Caving Team.
